Khalid produces tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers & eggplant. 17% of vegetables consumed in Qatar are sourced locally and he thinks that the local market size will be on the rise in the near future. Soil in Qatar may not be very fertile, and the water quality is not always great, but as agricultural technologies keep improving, there is no reason for Khalid’s business not to grow.

Being born and raised in Qatar, Salem is now in his 40’s and the thing he cares about the most is his family. His wife, son, daughter, father and mother all reside in the same household. While maintaining a busy work life, Salem needs to make sure he finds time to cater to his family’s needs, making sure each member of his family is happy and well. Salem makes an effort to spend quality time with his family, usually by attending local events and visiting local attractions. He feels responsible for the well-being of his family.

Opening in 2022, the mall is expected to receive a high number of visitors in a short period of time. While the design phase is being finalized, the municipality will be closely monitoring energy usage through construction. Moreover, the mall will have to adapt to different seasonal trends including hot summers, unusual opening patterns during Ramadan months, and high visitor traffic from large events. This high-stress of managing this business has left Abdulaziz to retain his heavy smoking habits.
