Soil in Qatar may not be very fertile, and the water quality is not always great, but as agricultural technologies keep improving, there is no reason for Khalid’s business not to grow.

Rashed is a very active teenager. He is a student athlete and football player at the Aspire Academy, excelling both in the field and his classes. He balances his time well between doing sports, studying and spending time with friends from school, but it’s no easy task. His dream is to participate at the World Cup 2022 in Qatar and is willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

Being born and raised in Qatar, Salem is now in his 40’s and the thing he cares about the most is his family. His wife, son, daughter, father and mother all reside in the same household. While maintaining a busy work life, Salem needs to make sure he finds time to cater to his family’s needs, making sure each member of his family is happy and well. Salem makes an effort to spend quality time with his family, usually by attending local events and visiting local attractions. He feels responsible for the well-being of his family.

Opening in 2022, the mall is expected to receive a high number of visitors in a short period of time. While the design phase is being finalized, the municipality will be closely monitoring energy usage through construction. Moreover, the mall will have to adapt to different seasonal trends including hot summers, unusual opening patterns during Ramadan months, and high visitor traffic from large events. This high-stress of managing this business has left Abdulaziz to retain his heavy smoking habits.

Sajit moved to Qatar only a few months ago with big hopes. It is his first time trying to make it in a big city, but he is determined to prove that he has what it takes. Not speaking any English nor Arabic is currently his biggest barrier, but as a hard worker, he manages to get by and make a humble living. He is hoping to start a family and have a decent income, one day, here in Qatar.

Out from the UK office, David has been working at the same logistics company for many years. He is now a senior manager and responsible of all the company’s activities in Qatar. Due to his role, he visits Qatar about once every month. He is divorced with no kids.
